Pasteria Napoletana

Traditional Neapolitan Savory Cheesy Pasta Cake, served in our home at Carnevale. Easy meal to prepare, and kids love it. Full of flavor and perfect for any pasta lover. It can be made both Gluten Free or Classic.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Cooked Gluten Free Penne Pasta or Classic Penne Pasta
  • 3 lbs Ricotta
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 12 Eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven 375F degrees
  2. Grease a 10" springform cake pan
  3. Cook pasta and drain, set aside
  4. In a large bowl whisk together the ricotta, salt, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese
  5. Add the eggs to ricotta mixture and whisk everything well until smooth and creamy
  6. Fold in the cooked pasta
  7. Pour pasta mixture into greased pan
  8. Bake at 375F degrees for 45min or until golden brown ontop and the cake doesn't giggle when you move it.
  9. Cool cake for 1 hour before cutting. Enjoy!

Notes

A nice way to serve a slice is with Clara's Marinara Sauce (recipe available at www.lovelifeandpizza.com/recipes) on the side to dip in.
